I am doing the photography collection, but I wanted to know how many pictures we needed to get an "A." The leaf collection needed, like, 30 leaves to get an
"A." Is it the same for the photo collection?

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY COMMENT HAS BEEN POSTED? I SENT ONE EARLIER, BUT IT NEVER TOLD ME IF IT WORKED. IT STILL SAYS; "no comments yet." I'M NOT SURE IF YOU'LL EVEN GET THIS COMMENT!

Dear Student,

If you look at the assignment sheet it states that you need to have "30 pictures to receive an A". Also, in order for comments to be posted, a teacher has to review them first to make sure they are appropriate. So.....it might take a while to get your comments and answers posted. Thanks for your patience.

One note. When you type on the internet in all capital letters it is equivalent to YELLING AT US!!!! PLEASE DON'T YELL UNLESS YOU REALLY MEAN IT!!!!

Thank you for putting the date on here because my mom was like "When is it due?" and I didn't know!

If we're doing the leaf collection, can we use like bush leaves and pine tree leaves?

Coach Wandel said...

You may do pine needles from pine trees. I would caution you on bushes though as they are not trees and can be hard to identify properly. If you wanted to do all bushes, you may want to switch to a photographic journal of bushes.....Just a thought.

What are we supposed to do when we collected all our leaves. For example, my friends brother put his in a book. Could I just buy a scrapbook or something that all my leaves could fit in and just put it in there?

A scrap book or photo album would work awesome for a leaf collection!

What do we have to write down for the leaf collection. For example, do we have to write the date and place or just the leaf and the scientific name? Help me out...I'm so confused! =[

Coach Malefyt said...

For the leaf collection, you will need to write down the common name, scientific name, date collected, location, and your name with EACH leaf. This is listed on the original handout that is available on our science collection resource page.

I am doing a photographic journal about animals and I was wondering if we were allowed to use pictures that we took over summer.

Coach Malefyt said...

If you need to squeeze one or two in we can allow it only if YOU THE STUDENT took the picture. However, if you were taking those pictures with the intention of using them in this project then talk to your teacher!

I am not sure if you ot my message
but for the photographic journal what do you mean by title?????

Coach Malefyt said...

If you are doing a photographic journal each picture needs a title that applies to the picture.
