Back at it Again!

Welcome to a new group of 7th graders!

Today is the first day for this years blog entries! Please use this blog as a landing place throughout the year. While edmodo will serve as a "online project manager", this blog will share the good news of what is going on.

Today in science one group went outside for some abiotic vs biotic extension looks. The other group had iPad PD.

For the technology group...click here to access your "road map"!!!

Wednesday, May 23, 2012

Wednesday Class

Today students began diving into their projects. Most work will be communicated through their edmodo accounts. This blog will be a place to share the good story!

Tuesday Class

Click here to access the form for who you would like in your Africa Project Group.

After students had the opportunity to work on group selection we developed our "Need to Know" list to answer the driving question around our Africa Project: "How can students from a small town have a positive global impact?"

In the afternoon, students had opportunities to meet their group members and begin the process of finding current issues in Africa.

Monday, May 21, 2012

Monday Class

Today in science we reviewed some key concepts from the year. Students created a small edmodo posting on their assigned topic. In addition, students created a small skit to share with the large group based around their assigned topic.

Wednesday, May 9, 2012

Wednesday Class

Today in science we continue looking at the driving question of, "How do we explain the differences between baking ingredients?" To help with this, we did a lab today looking at chemical reactions. At the conclusion of todays class students did a self assessment on their personal accountability.

Monday, May 7, 2012

Monday Class

Today students accomplished two things:
