Friday Class

Friday in science the following things will occur!!!!

1. Students will take a online assessment on relationships in ecosystems. This will be sent to each student's edmodo page.

2. Students will do a activity called "Survival is Just a Roll Away" Here is that procedure:

• Open this document for instructions and the online forms. Students will also receive paper copies for some of the activity. 
• Students will use the online version to read the background.
• Students complete the activity.

As a guide...here is a slide presentation to emphasize key points and followup questions... This must be viewed!

Tuesday Class

Welcome Back!!!! We certainly hope everyone had a great break!!!!

Today in science we continue to work on the "Ecosystem Relationships" road map. We showed the video, In the Valley of Wolves, to show students examples of predator/prey relationships and competition. There is a link to the movie on the road map.

Wednesday Class

Today we completed a predator vs prey game that involved a lot of running! This game helped complete the predator/prey row on the ecosystem relationships road map.

Thursday Class

Today in science we started a new project on relationships in ecosystems. The driving challenge is: Design one art piece that reflects relationships in an ecosystem. Here are two video clips we watched to open our project with.
 After the movie clips we did a "Need to Know List" Finally, we handed out a road map that will begin answering student "need to knows."

Tuesday Class

Today in science students finished working on the Owl Pellet Graphing Activity. Tomorrow we will have some assessments on food webs and types of consumers.
