Thursday Class (1/21/10)

Today in science class we prepared presentations on a form of chemical of physical weathering. After we prepared...we presented!

Wednesday Class (1/20/10)

Today in science we did:
1. Finished looking at Igneous rocks by filling in a chart and diagram.
2. CPS quiz on Igneous Rocks
3. Started an activity on weathering. This sheet is available for download on our resource page.

Monday and Tuesday Class

On Monday we finished the igneous rock lab that we started Friday. Today we are offering a retake of the ecology test and other quizzes.

Friday Class

Today in science we:
1. Took a quiz on minerals.
2. Introduced Igneous Rocks and started a lab on them. Students did not finish lab. We will finish on Monday.

On a separate note, we will have a test re-take from our Ecology Units sometime next week. This is not a mandatory test...only there for students who want to try for a better grade. I put a copy of the old test on our resource page. You can click here to see it.

Thursday Class

Today in science we did three things:
1. Did a Mineral Wrap Up Discussion
2. CPS Quiz on Minerals
3. Watched Bill Nye on Rocks to lead us into tomorrows Igneous Rock Lab.
