Wednesday Class (9/30/09)
Today in science we took a quiz on ecological concepts that we have studied this year. Following the quiz, students worked on a pondering change question sheet and a pondering change data sheet. Both of those sheets go with the bottle biology activities. There is NO homework due this week.

Tuesday Class (9/29/09)
Today in class we finished stocking our bottles. We spent a fair amount of time working on our inventory data sheets. In addition, we took two CPS quizzes today...one on reading charts and the other on general ecology questions. There is no homework due right now.

Monday Class (9/28/09)
Today in science we finished construction of our bottles and started the inventory process. Students started filling out their "Taking Inventory Data Sheets" packet. Tomorrow will be the last day dedicated to bottle biology.

Today in science we continued our bottle biology. Most students are nearing the end of the contstruction portion and are starting to fill in their mini ecosystems. There is no homework other than the science collection.

Today in class was all about Bottle Biology. Students designed and started to build their mini ecosystems.
Don't forget about the homework that is due tomorrow. The graph and gold fish lab report will be handed in. Expect a short CPS quiz on our introduction to ecology terms that we have been discussing in class.

Today in class we went over the lab stations. In specific, we focused on graphing and observation. We spent time discussing the science collection. Finally, we did a CPS quiz on graphing.

Today in class we finished up the station work that was started last week. Tomorrow we will recap the stations and move ahead.
Homework Alert: students are to bring 2 2 liter pop bottles to class on Wednesday. However, if your family does not have any, don't go to the store to buy them. If you have extra at home, please bring them in.

Today in class we started a group of science lab stations revolving around gold fish. The main focus of these labs is the scientific method.

Wednesday Class (9/9/09)
Today in class we had introductions of class memebers and teachers. This included watching i movies about Mr. Malefyt and Mr. Wandel. Students had time to fill out some information as well.
